World War II Re-Enactment - May 15th & 16th at The Lyon Farm. Times are from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. both days. Admission $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for children 7 - 12. Children 6 and under FREE. The Blacktop Barons Car Club - Car Show to Benefit Muscular Dystrophy - June 5th at The Lyon Farm. Times are from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Admission to be announced. 2 bands will play during the course of the event. Pre 1966 cars, trucks and bikes. Swap meet area as well. The Life Story of Elizabeth Tressa Hill Leifheit, a life long Kendall County Resident - July 3rd at The Chapel On The Green Times are from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The Heritage Hall Museum will be open, free of charge, for public viewing of Kendall County Artifacts. Come and hear Norma Tucker play At 11:00 a.m. Elizabeth Tressa Hill Leifheit's life story will be told in the Santcuary. John Patterson, Elizabeth's son-in-law, remembers and shares the humor in his stories relating to some interesting thoughts and life experiences of his mother-in-law. Elizabeth was born the first child of Frederick and Elizabeth (Lillian) Whynot Hill on October 22, 1910 in the countryside of Kendall County. She would have been 100 years old this year. John will also tell us about downtown Yorkville businesses that were here during her lifetime.

37th Annual Fall Festival - September 25th & 26th at The Lyon Farm. Times are from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. both days. Admission $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for children 7 - 12. Children 6 and under FREE. See antique tractors, cars, trucks, gas engines and other antique equipment on display and being used. We also have several crafters that come to sell their wares, a flea market, a harvest wagon, bake items, children's games, crops, petting zoo, daily entertainment and hayrides too. October 2010 calendar

Halloween Partie - October 24th and 31st at The Lyon Farm. Times are from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. both days. Admission $3.00 for all ages. There will be old fashioned games and trick or treating for the kids. We have a costume parade and prizes are awarded. We also have hayrides that take you through our haunted barn. Christmas At The Farm - December 12th. Times are from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Admission for all ages is $3.00. There will be crafts and goodies for the kids, a story teller, chestnut roasting, cookie icing and Santa Claus will be there too! A great time for the entire family.
